我们伟大的祖国近几年来喜事不断，作为中国人我深感荣幸。先是迎来了2008年的北京奥运会，接着迎来了上海的世博会，现在又迎来了第16届广州亚运会。
亚运会的序幕渐渐拉开，阿如，阿意，阿祥，阿和还有乐羊羊这五个吉祥天使正在迎接着观众的到来，它们欢笑的面容好象祝福着每一位比赛选手。还有那欢快的、火红的中国结，像一位新娘子也在迎接着四海的宾朋。刹那间，天空礼花绽放，五彩斑斓，歌声飞扬，这一刻，整个广州城都亮了起来，人们都欢腾了起来。我的心也久久地被激荡起来了。
节目一开始，董卿阿姨和朱军叔叔开始主持节目，起先是我们敬爱的温家宝爷爷走上前台，郑重地宣布：“第16届广州亚运会开幕了！”我看得如醉如痴，接着第一项是出国旗，8位军人叔叔排着整齐的队伍，每人手持鲜艳的国旗一角，昂首阔步地沿着珠江海心沙岛前行，到达目的地后，国旗随着嘹亮的国歌声冉冉升起。这时，全场肃立着，那庄严的国歌声在我的耳畔不停地萦绕着。我听见了，那是全国人民对我们中国选手的期望和嘱托。紧接着第二项是艺术演出节目，映入眼帘的是一个可爱的小女孩侧卧在碧绿的叶子上，摇啊，摇啊，一路唱着优美歌声，一路泼撒着甜美的甘露，那是岭南特有的一种文化，象征着岭南人祥乐的生活和对美好生活的祈愿。突然，听到一阵阵脚踏声，原来另一项节目开始了，几位大姐姐、大哥哥们拿着火红的灯笼在欢舞着，那优美的舞姿，错落有致的步伐，看得让我沉醉，让我神往。
这一晚，广州灯火辉煌，人流如织，锣鼓喧天，广州人用他们最美好的方式传递着对亚运的那份情怀与感动。亚运来了，广州人准备好，我也一次次地兴奋着，欢呼着，迎着它的到来。
其实，在我的心目中，亚运会的比赛结果并不重要，重要的是我们要永远学习亚运健儿的那种自强拼搏的精神。今晚，我们希望迎来的不仅是亚运盛会，更希望迎来的是世界人民对和平，对幸福生活的那份向往与追求。

东城礼仪之花处处开
中华民族是有着几千年历史的文明古国。为了让同学们养成良好的习惯，进一步深化我校的礼仪教育，为广州市迎亚运创文明城市作出应有的贡献。本学期，我校开展了“迎亚运，讲文明”的系列活动。活动形式生动活泼：有迎亚运讲文明知识竞赛、雄鹰展翅礼仪争章活动、名人礼仪故事大家讲、每月礼仪之星评选等。
走进校园，我们会置身浓厚的礼仪教育氛围：目之所见，是文明礼仪的宣传标语、墙报；耳之所闻，是校园红领巾广播站传来的有关文明礼仪的故事和歌曲。潜移默化间，我们的校园发生了可喜的变化。瞧！每天上学，同学们一跨进校门，就会向着国旗敬礼，微笑着向值日老师问好。课间，追逐打闹的现象不见了，取代的是同学、教师相互之间礼貌的问好；校园整洁了，地面即使有一点点垃圾、废物，马上就有同学们主动弯腰捡起来??
文明礼仪教育也使我们班发生了美妙的变化：听！“李雨芯，你要去跑步吗？我帮你收作业吧！”这不是淘气鬼陈烨吗？他变得乐于助人啦！“对不起，对不起，是我不小心把你的本子弄掉了，对不起！”咦，这个不是原本脾气很暴躁的罗志毅同学吗？看他也变了！瞧，脚步轻轻，队伍整齐，我班同学排着整齐的队伍到室外上课了！一个个文明的镜头，一个个乐于助人的镜头在我们班随处可见，形成了一道道美丽的风景！
是呀，文明礼仪的种子正播撒在同学心间，文明礼仪的新风正在东城小学掀起。建设“文明校园”，是我们共同的责任。老师们，同学们，让我们携起手来，团结一心，讲道德修养、做文明师生，共同打造我校的文明美景，让礼仪之花开遍东城小学，让我们共创东城小学更加灿烂辉煌的明天！

我的姐姐是一名六年级学生。
我的姐姐因为勤学好问，深受老师们的喜爱。姐姐读五年级的时候是广播员。
姐姐写得一手好作文，姐姐和她的好朋友经常代表学校参加比赛，在比赛中获得许多奖状。
姐姐在2010年迎亚运、文明行获得优秀奖，奖励两张购书劵。姐姐在2009年的团体朗诵比赛中荣获三等奖，由姐姐上台领奖，还获得奖金五百元。姐姐还在其它比赛中荣获许多奖状。

妙笔生花，大展才艺
——记工程学子现场作文比赛
为了提高大学生党政知识和环保意识，培养我工程学子爱校爱院的情怀，同时让大学生感受亚运给我们所带来的改变，为喜欢写作的同学提供一个写作、交流和展示自己的平台，由09级学生会主办的“迎亚运，倡环保，争创优，爱校院”现场作文比赛于2010年11月19日成功举行。
本次现场作文比赛得到辅导员陈老师和王老师的高度重视，并且为这次活动的筹办提出了许多宝贵的意见，同时还邀请到心灵家园作为这次作文比赛的评委，而且得到09级同学们的热情参与，为我们塑造了一个积极向上、健康文明的校园文化氛围，有力地激发了工程学子读书和写作的热情。
由作文比赛现场我们可以看到，130多位比赛选手们个个镇定从容，信心满怀。有的同学文思如涌，奋笔疾耕；有的同学斟酌字句，凝思遐想。不一会儿空白的作文纸上点缀成了美丽的答卷。
比赛是从以下三个话题中任选一个话题写作：爱我广州，喜迎亚运；创先争优；低碳环保。作文稿纸统一由学生会工作人员现场发放，要求字数不少于1000字，比赛时间是20:00——21:30。
