A Problem of My City

It is known to all that city, as the symbol of civilization, is human’s central stage on the walks of politics, economy, military, culture, education, etc. However, no one can deny that some serious problems occur in cities, including my city —Liu Zhou.

One problem we can’t ignore in Liu Zhou city is the various kinds of pollutions such as dirty water, stuffy air, smelly solid rubbish, annoying noise, horrible radiation are endangering city’s sustainable development because of the fast process of industrialization and human’s blindly pursuit wealth at the expense of destroying our surroundings. Although some steps have been taken to curb and better the worsening situation, there is still a long way to go.

In a word, we should cherish our city, and establish a more reasonable model to agree with our further progress as well as nature.

Traffic In The City

With the development of economy ,traffic is becoming one of the greatest problems of a modern city.

One problem is pollution .The waste gases from the exhaust pipes are great enemies to the air. And there are so many cars and buses in the city that the harm they cause to the environment is considerable. Another problem is crowdedness .City inhabitants are so familiar with traffic jams that they are part of their lives. Time wasted on traffic and people are made impatient by the awful traffic. Worse than that ,traffic accidents are real-life disasters of blood and death .Traffic has become one of the nightmares of people living in cities.

To build highways and bridges only works out part of the problem .Cars and buses should be improved to give less waste gases. Government should encourage citizens to take buses so that there is less traffic on road. People should obey traffic rules and try not to make trouble on road. City area should be expanded so that there is more space for wide roads. Maybe low-pollution high-efficiency means of traffic should be invented .Only after we pay enough attention to the problem will it be possible for us to solve it .

Living in a Big City

There are large amount of people such as students, workers, businessmen and artists rushing into the big city every day. Different people have their reasons for going to big cities, yet, they get their own trouble of living there. As to me, one little guy in Shanghai, also feel a lot around these benefits and problems.

We all know that many works become quite convenient while living in big cities. We can get more information than those living in small towns, and enjoy a higher-speed life with many public sources in this city. They maybe never go to my hometown to make a show all my life long.

Otherwise, living in a big city also has many disadvantages, and this is known by more and more people nowadays. Let me take my bill list for the evidence, I spent more than 3,500 RMB in only one month, and this is unbelievable in my mind!
