请问这里选什么?网络上都说是ONE,可是为什么不选WHAT.我觉得这里不能用ONE,因为ONE只能代替前面泛指的东西,而这里前面已经提到THE JOB.后面还是代替同样的的这个THE JOB.同名同类是不能用ONE T和THAT的,所以只能选WHAT了.变成一个WHAT引导的名词性从句.

我是把他理解成“这个工作是需要很多耐心的”，所以始终无法理解此处为什么用“ONE”，然后下面的理解全出错了，很别扭。
“这是一个需要耐心的工作”，这样理解是只能用ONE了，ONE 替代A JOB，泛指。

不是的,one可以表示某类东西中的一个.
这里意思是：这是一个很需要耐心的工作.
这里不能用what,what可以引导从句,但是必须在句中做成分.
这里如果用what,那么后面的calling就应该改成calls,否则从句就不是一个完整的句子.
这里应该是缺少一个名词,后面的calling for much patience是修饰名词的分词短语,所以只能用one.

one是可以作代词代指前文中提到过的某一个具体事物的，例如：
The task is one of great importance.这里的one就是指代task

此处选A，one代替a job。后面的calling...是现在分词作定语，修饰one。如果改成定语从句，应为 one that is calling...。如果选c，what后要接一个从句，calling前少了is。而且意思也不对。
