Considering the safety of those houses the bad influence of cityscape,old buildings should be replaced.Firstly,these buildings were built in the time that had terrible ecology and easy building materials usually and they had long time not to be repaired,therefore,these buildings are easily destroyed by natural disasters such as earthquakes and typhoons.Secondly,old buildings often are located in different and complicated places,which make urban renewal becomes more difficult.Some significant changes were given up because of those old buildings.In addition,in same area,the populations that live in old houses are much less than the individuals that live in model buildings.If we do not destroy and replace the old buildings,the city will become increasingly crowed.
However,there are a number of historians insist that old buildings should not be destroyed.They believed that there are a host of valuable things that can be studied.We can understand other form of life in early years when we study the old houses.Some of them are buildings of historic value,gorgeous historic buildings and unique ethnic architectures.They all have their special roles and we should not destroy them when we consider the cultures of human.
