这个”完整的句子“远不如上面的句子表达得简练、清晰.

the moment本身就是相副词功能 常引导时间状语从句,所以其后加when就是重复了,属于语法错误,但是后面加不加that都行,一般情况下加得比较少。
加when就变成同位语从句了，这里显然是时间状语从句
