这里的another有再来一个的意思.
other指的的是其它,他们的意思再这里有本质的不同.
用another是指：因为上个月的party使我们很开心,因此这个月我们要在举行一个.
而用other是指：上个月的party使我们很开心了,那么这个月我们要举行一个别的类型的party.
这是意思上的解释.
首先我想说的是,在语法上他们真的没有错误,并且在没有语境的情况下用other也是可以的.但是不得不顾及到应试教育及中国式考试,所以请不要深究,记住就好,因为其实从实际用的情况出发,用other也是可能出现的.

PS：楼上几个人不要乱解释好不好,other单独存在没有“特指”二者之一的意思.那个意思是在the other的情况下才“一定会”出现的.
