此处是省略了for sb,所以do是相对于sb而言,并非相对于sth而言.sb具体指什么需要看句意,一般在指for me或者for us,就会省略掉了,如果是指其他人,一般不会省略.
如：

这个句子不适用于以上规则,为什么呢?因为这里不是there is sth而是there is sb.所以关于there is sth的规律并不适用于此例.
there is sb (for sb) to.
句中隐含有两个sb,一定要弄清楚两个sb分别与动词的关系,否则会造成歧义.
