Practice Makes Perfect
The saying that practice makes perfect means that after you have plenty practice in what you are doing ,you 'll be perfect in it .He who practises a lot will master the skill more quickly than he who seldom or hardly practises.
For example ,when we learn English ,we have to learn grammar,words ,expressions and so on .The most important thing may be how to put what we have learned into practice.If you only learn grammar by heart and don't do enough exercises,it is certain that you can't understand it perfectly.But if you practise a lot ,maybe you will understand it more deeply and you can find some good methods of applying it ,Memorizing English words whenever time permits,we can easily memorize them and can even find a way to memorize them more quickly.
There is another example .A famous singer can sing very well.Of couse ,his gift is very important,but practice is necessary .It is necessary to practise to make the singer sing better and better .
It is evident that practice is important for everybody .If you want to improve your studies and work ,you should remember that practice makes perfect.

Now we've all heard saying about how their is nothing more important than practice, or "highly educated" phrases like "Practice makes perfect", and so on. But have we asked ourselves, does practice really make perfect? Well today I am here to talk about this seemingly simple, but doubted concept that has been talked about for decades, maybe even hundreds of years.
What is practice, anyways? "Repeated performance or systematic exercise for the purpose of acquiring skill or proficiency." At least that's what the dictionary says. Practice help you learn a skill better, faster, and in a beneficial way. But does it really make your skill perfect? I think not. How is it not possible, for a pianist to screw up on stage, after hundreds of hours of rehearsal and practice? How is it not possible, for an actor, who been to a three-digit number of rehearsals, to forget completely what he or she is going to say, right on the brink of a performance? How is it not possible, that hours and hours of homework every night, still cannot make a student's grade increase? I think it is quite clear after those examples, that practice, although makes skill, definitely does not make perfect.
I am not suggesting the fact that practice is useless. It is one of the most efficient methods to prepare for a recital, a performance, or a big, grade-concerning test. But we cannot say that it makes our skill perfect.
