为什么是intended,不是intending,这又暴露出我哪里有缺陷呢?

这篇文章的后面全是过去式,为什么要去掉to呢?
第三个是一个短文改错,它是要去掉to,为什么?

1. what = the place that .它引导的句子在这里充当宾语从句 在这里, 既要of 的宾语, 又要在is called the people's square 中充当主语, 而which 只能在这里只能引导定语从句, 但原句缺少先行词. 所以which 不能选.
2. 这里是过去分词充当后置定语修饰performance . 而不是host .
3. because of his trouble in legs 相当于 because he had troubles in legs .
because 和so 不能同时使用. 而且because 引导的是原因状语从句, so 引导的是结果状语从句.
