I watch TV, play computer games, do my homework and so on. If it is a sunny day, I often go out to have fun. Sometimes, I go for a walk with my friends. We walk along the bank of the river. The wind blows, and the flowers smell nice. We can also feel the green grass, the clean water. All the things make us happy. I like walking in the sunshine. It is quite enjoyable. I often go shopping with my parents. Why? Because I can learn a lot from them.

I really enjoy myself on weekends!

Unit 2

Then Mary goes back home and takes the medicine. She decides to change her bad lifestyle. She doesn't eat junk food any more and eats healthy food every day. She has enough sleep every day. I think it's important for her to keep healthy.

Unit 3

On the first day, I am going to have a relaxing rest. School work just makes me so tired. On the second day, I am going to the movie with my friends. We have not played together for a long time. On the third day, I am going to climb the mountain with my parents. On the fourth day, I am going to the library to read some books. On the fifth day, I am going to visit my cousin. I really miss her. On the sixth day, I am going to play computer games and watch TV at home. On the last day, I have to do my homework! I really want the holiday to come soon! I can't wait.

Unit 4

If I can go to somewhere for vacation, I will go to Tibet. Maybe you want to know why. Because Tibet is really beautiful and people there are very friendly. In Tibet, you can enjoy the blue sky, white clouds and beautiful mountains. People in Tibet would regard tourists as their friends or family members. And in Tibet, you can find lots of specials. Of course, you could buy many souvenirs during your vacation in Tibet. And I plan to go to Tibet by train, because I think I will enjoy the beautiful sightseeings. And I want to stay there for at least one month.

Thanks for your invitation. I'm sorry that I can't come. I am very busy. My father has gone to Shanghai. My mother is ill in hospital. I must look after her. And I have lots of homework to do. Tomorrow, I will have a physics test. I must study for it.

My best friend's name is Candy. She has big eyes and she wears a pair of glasses. She has long hair. Her voice is like a boy. She is outgoing and has many friends. She is also energetic. She can run for a long time and play badminton very well. She is a bright girl. She used to play the violin. She likes eating dumplings. When I get to her home, she always makes delicious dumplings. Oh, I am so lucky that I can make friends with Candy.

Unit 7

First, put 3 eggs into a glass bowl. Also put some pieces of butter into the bowl, and mix them up. Then put 500g milk and some sugar as well as some flour in it, and mix them up. Finally, take them into the toaster. Please turn on the toaster and wait about five minutes. You can eat delicious cakes cooked by yourself. I think we should learn to make food by ourselves.

I had a really dangerous experience. It's quite unusual for me. I can never forget it. When I was four years old, I lived close to Central Park. One day, my brother, my parents and I went to the park. My brother and I were having fun, running, jumping. We ran around in the park and soon we were a few kilometers away from my parents. Both of us were interested in a small lake in a corner. It was just about 2 meters deep, but for me it is too deep. There were many stones in the lake. They were put there as a bridge. I wasn't old enough to jump from one stone to another. So I fell into the water. I was frightened. I cried and shouted. Luckily, my parents came, and they picked me up.

My favorite idol is Ronaldo, a popular soccer player. He is also named

"Alien". He is Brazilian. He played for his national team when he was seventeen. He has taken part in the World Cup three times.He has goaled 15 balls. He is the greatest player in the World Cup. But he always gets injured. The other day, he got injured in a soccer match. He had to rest for six months. So he also called "Glass Man". Now, he is too old to play soccer. But many people also love him.

Unit 10

My dream is to become a famous and wise person. And I also want to travel all over the world. It is pretty nice. New year is coming, so I must make a plan to realize my dream. First of all, I have to improve my English. If I want to travel around the world, I have to communicate with people in English,

especially I must improve my spoken English and listening. Next I have to study hard at school. I want to be a knowledgeable person, so I have to master lots of knowledge. If I don't study hard, I will not succeed.

Unit 11

Are you able to do the housework at home? If your answer is "no", you'd better learn it right away. But what can we do at home?

First of all, we should keep our own rooms clean. Never make trouble for your parents. Then, you should try to clean the whole house. After meals, you can wash the dishes. And on weekends, you can do the laundry. You can also cook, clean the windows and make the house beautiful. There are too many things that we can do. Try to do the housework today!

Unit 12

I live in a city. It is a beautiful and clean city. I think that Renmin Store is the best store. It has the best service and everything in it is very cheap. So I often buy things in the store. The Pacific Theather is better than any other theater. It has the most comfortable seats and the biggest screen. And I always go to movies with my friends on Sundays. What about your city?
