The feats accomplished by the strongest men and women are almost beyond belief. The most incredible stunt of all was carried out by Frank Richards. He stood next to a cannon which fired a cannon ball into his stomach. His stomach was so strong that the cannon ball bounced back. These feats may seem impossible, but we are sure they actually happened.

　　The F.B.I. regularly makes up a list of the nation's ten worst criminals. This list, called the "Ten Most Wanted." is posted as widely as possible. Pictures of the wanted men and women appear in post offices, newspapers, and police stations. Publicity helps the police to track down people on the list. Once a face becomes widely known it is difficult for the criminal to hide.

The Award, first given in 1927, went to the film "Wings," which was silent. Pictures with sound became increasingly successful within the next year and began winning the Award regularly after 1928. The Academy Award Winner that has earned the most money is "The Godfather," one of the most popular films ever made.
