Recently I am preparing for the IELTS test. In order to get a good mark, I took part in a class in New Oriental school to study. Everyday I feel fulfilling but tired. At first I felt it was ok for me to do lots of things at the same time. However ,as time goes by, I felt maybe I couldn’t do so many things in the meantime. Everyday we almost have one-day class except Thursday. For my IELTS test, I need to go for class at weekend. Day by day, the teacher taught us much knowledge and I must follow her footsteps. You know there are four parts of this test so that I need to prepare these four part in the meantime. In addition, some homework should be finished which assigned by teachers at school. So much to do, so little done, such things to be. Despite all this, I still think I can complete them well. I am just looking for a way to use my time more profitably. I hope that I can solve the problem quickly.

After talking about so much things which disturbed me, I will share some happiness. Yesterday was my birthday, it was also the anniversary that I have known my roommates for two years. I remembered that we met each other on Sep.23 two years ago. Meanwhile, some wonderful memories flashed into my mind.

When I became a freshman, I felt unfamiliar to all the things in the university. Ten days after the beginning of term, my birthday came. That

time we were having the military training. I felt tired because of that. And I felt sad because that was the first time I celebrated the birthday by myself in an unfamiliar place. I missed my parents and I wanted to go home. The sadness lasted for the whole day. After training I walked back to dormitory. It was kind of cold in October. I was depressed to death. Unconsciously, I came back to the dormitory. When I open the door, I found it’s dark inside. Suddenly, there was a sound floated. “Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you…” And there are candle in the darkness. As the room became light, I saw a cake in the desk and there are big beams in everyone’s face. That moment I considered that I was the happiest one in the world. That time I realized that they are my family as well. Until now ,they had celebrated three birthdays for me. They are my folks. I love them.

PS: At noon yesterday you taught us how to use the TRP, and we found that your eye were bloodshot. We know that you solved the problems of TRP for us. We are lucky to meet a teacher like you. Pay attention to your body. Don’t too has been tired, please well rests.

The weather was sunny and hot.I didn’t want to do anything.When I was sleeping,my mother asked me to get up. I was very reluctantly.But I still got up ten minutes after.Because my mother and I would go to a villa.We went there by car and my father drived.The villa had a big garden.We can plant some vegetables and flowers.I helped my mother water the flowers.There was a small pool.Many kinds of fishes were in it.In the morning ,we visited the villa and cooked lunch.In the afternoon,I fished with my cousins-a boy and a girl and my father.We even wanted to swim in the pool.The air there was clean and there were so many trees.It was a good place to go on vacation.How big the villa is! I really enjoyed it.I believe, I believe I will have much money to buy a big and nice villa many years after.

The weather was windy and cool.I wanted to go to Hunan and my mother agreed that I went.About 1:30pm,we went to bus stop to wait for my mother’s friend.We went together.After 30 minutes,we were in the airport.I lookforward to climbing mountains.It was exciting.Then we arrived at Changsha.It was a beautiful city,and it was Mao Zedong’s hometown.We enjoyed the colorful lights and went shopping.The shopping mall is bigger than the shopping mall in Wenzhou.I hope I can have a good trip with my mother and my mother’s friend.

Today,I got up very early.I had a good breakfast in the restaurant.Then we went to Tianmen Mountain.It was a beautiful mountain.But weather was rainy,so there were wet and there were some fogges on the high of the mountain.But it still was very beautiful.My mother took some photos for me.A famous movie was from here.I was very happy that I can get to Tianmen Mountain to have a look at it.There was a mountain looked like a person.I love this.It was the first day of my trip and it was so good.

一、掌握口头通知特点

口头通知即以口头的形式表达通知的内容，其特点是：用词较口语化，句子不会太复杂，通常只需用一段话讲清其内容即可。另外，口头通知的开头和结尾通常都有一定的固定套语，同学们也应特别注意。

二、妥用口头通知呼语

口头通知的开头称呼语通常需根据听众的具体情况来确定，有时还要考虑其场合是否正式。如在比较正式且男女听众兼有的场合，通常用Ladies and gentlemen 来称呼听众，同时注意该表达的词序，不要想当然地将其倒过来，且一定要用复数。当然，若听众中只有男士，则只用Gentlemen；或者只有女士，则只用Ladies。但是，如果在非正式场合，则比较随便。对学生用的称呼语通常是Boys and girls。

一、掌握书面通知特点

书面头通知即以书面的形式表达通知的内容，其特点是：措辞较严谨，句子结构相对口头通知会更复杂，尤其会使用一些非谓语动词短语(如用不定式表目的等)和从句(如if 从句、when从句、so that从句等)。

二、熟记书面通知格式

与口头通知不同，书面通知在用书面形式表达出来时，它有自己比较固定的格式：如通知开头要有标题(通常为Notice或Announcement)，标题下面是正文，正文后通常还应有发通知的单位(通常写在右下角)和写发通知的日期(通常写在左下角)等。

三、注意与口头通的区别

口头通知一般有开头称呼语(Ladies and gentlemen, Boys and girls等)，而书面通知通常不用这些开头称呼语；口头通知用来吸引听众注意力的句子(如May I have your attention, please? / Attention please, everyone. I have an announcement to make. / Be quite. 一、写作技巧

日记常用来记述自己一天生活中所发生的有意义的事情或用来抒发自己对当天某些事情的感受以及自己将来的打算等。英文日记也是这样。不过，要写好英文日记，需要注意以下几点：

(1) 格式要正确。英文日记与中文日记写法大致相同，都是在正文之前，先依次有日期、星期几及当天的天气情况。

(2) 表达要清楚、准确、连贯。判断的标准就是通过阅读你的日记，看你能否用简洁明了的英语把所给的汉语提示准确无误地表达出来，以及自己的感想等。

(3) 文体要口语化。因为日记是写给自己看的，其内容多是记述自己亲身经历和亲眼看到的事或抒发自己的感情等，所以用第一人称写，文体也不必过分讲究，只需把该写的东西写清楚即可。
