Yes,it usually does.
Maybe the lovers are totally moved when they both fall in deep love,but I do feel uneasy when i see people kiss in public.I would even feel ashame when I see it.Because that`s not something that Chinese people would do.Say if I`m abroad,I might feel the romance while I see things like that happening on the street.I would just apprieciate their romatic in the western country.But in China,people don`t hold that sort of value.We are not use to express our feelings so freely.There are usually more people walking on the street in China,so everybody is required to be responsible to contribute to the public environment.Kissing in front of so many strangers might just pollute the public area and make everyone else feel uneasy.You know,in China the public place is so limited.Maybe you`ll want to do it when there are only half of this population.

I think it is OK when people kiss for good-by whenever in the train station, at an airport, even on the bus stops. In this case they want to express their feelings for careness about each other. They show that they miss their partners and inspire each other when they are not together. It is a great behavior when they kiss in public for such a reason.
However. It indeed annoys me when people have a long kiss in a park, in an underground carriage, in a restruant, particularly in a public area where there are children playing. Because we are human being, hence we should give other people respects.
