有人说是虚拟语气,所以前面用can的过去式could,后面用will的过去式would,我也可以理解；
我的问题是,want为什么用过去式wanted?

首先我想到的和你一样,我认为这里没有必要用wanted, 应该是want,怀疑有误拼,打错了.
网上也找到很多用want的：
