二、the other,others,another
1.the other 有两种用法
1）one...,(and) the other (one/单数名词)
用于指“二者中的另外一个...”
如：I have two good friends.One is Lucy,and the other (one/friend) is Tom.
2) the other + 名词复数 = the others
用于有限定范围的情况,意思是“其他的...”
如：There are forty students in my class.Ten are boys,and the other students are girls.
= There are forty students in my class.Ten are boys,and the others are girls.
2.others = other + 名词复数
用于没有限定范围的情况,意思是“其他的人/物”.
如：You should help others.= You should help other people.
3.another 有三种用法
1）单用,表示“三者或以上中的另外一个”
如：I don't like this bike.Can you show me another?
2) another + 名词单数,用法同上
如：I don't like this bike.Can you show me another one/bike?
3) another + 基数词 + 名词复数 = 基数词 + more + 名词复数
意思是“又/再/另几个...”
如：I need another five students to help me.
= I need five more students to help me.
