1）相对于.与……相对；在……对面
His store is opposite to mine.

He lives opposite to me.
他住在我对面.
There was a garden on the opposite side of the street.

2) 与 ...相反,相反的；对立的
1.On a ring network,the direction opposite to that of data flow.

2.Done or arranged in a manner or an order that is opposite to previous occurrence or normal use.
逆向的以和先前的情况或正常的用法相反的方式或顺序来完成或安排的
