我国城市从上世纪90年代后进入了空前的发展阶段，城市更新、改造进一步深入，伴随着城市的发展，城市中的背景建筑与标志性建筑却混杂不清，导致城市整体空间形象品质提升的困难以及城市特色的缺失。
本文主要探讨研究城市背景建筑和标志性建筑自身的特点，并在城市动态变化的前提下讨论二者相互关系。结合实际城市调研分析，提出一些有利于城市背景建筑和标志性建筑发展的基本设计原则。

Abstract
Cities in China have stepped into unprecedented developing era since 1990s last century, With continual development, renewing and reconstruction of cities has been deeper and deeper. However, background buildings and landmarks in city is farraginous, which result in difficulty in improving quality of overall space image, as well as shortage of city characteristic.
The paper hereby mainly works on self-characteristic of background buildings and landmarks in city, and discuss bilateral relations between these two elements under the prerequisite of dynamic developing of city. Besides, some basic designing principles will be proposed in favour of background buildings and landmarks development.

constructed and deeper designs launched. However, in the process of the urban development, many cities have lost their own characters and their space for broader development resulting from the mingling of landmarks and background buildings.
This paper mainly discusses the characters of background buildings and landmarks respectively, and the relationship between the two under the presupposition of urban dynamic changes. Combining the actual survey of many cities in China, this paper will propose some favorable principles on the designing of landmarks and background buildings in urban areas.
