位于兰溪城西18公里处,杭、金、衙三地交界的“金三角”,有330国道经过,交通便捷.古名高隆.其村落建筑依诸葛亮九宫八卦阵图式布局营造而得名.诸葛亮生子瞻；瞻生二子,长子诸葛尚与其父瞻一同在保卫绵竹的战役中遇难.次子京一脉相承,子孙绵延.五代唐时（约920一930）第15世孙诸葛俐,从四川成都游学至会稽,然后到寿昌为县令,几度升迁,均被当地父老挽留,终于病故寿昌.诸葛八卦村,古称高隆,至南宋末年诸葛亮 第28世孙诸葛大狮公迁居到此后,由于诸葛氏族选择了一方颇具神秘文化色彩的“福地”,使诸 葛家族兴旺发达,渐以姓氏命名,故叫诸葛村.
据专家考证,诸葛村村落的整体建筑营造格局,是始祖大狮公为纪念先祖诸葛亮而按九宫八卦图式精心设计构建的.村落的整体布局以钟池（摹拟八卦阵中军）为中心,全村房屋呈放射状排列,并以钟池为圆心向外延伸八条弄堂,将全村 有规划地分为八块,村外自然环绕八座小山,使村落呈外八卦形状.村内巷道阡陌纵横,似通非通似连非连,曲尽九宫八卦之玄妙,故名八卦 村.村中现居有近四千诸葛亮嫡传后裔,使之成为全国最大的诸葛亮后裔聚居地.
景区内由丞相祠堂、钟池、大公堂和诸葛村 落的200多座元、明、清古建筑三国文化、诸葛亮文化、诸葛家族文化、中药文化组成,以诸葛亮文化、神秘文化和文物古迹游为特色.游人到此,探“八卦奇境”,猜“华夏一谜”,当“一天后裔”,别有一种风情和乐趣.诸葛村现有保存完好,建于明代的大公堂、丞相祠堂等景点.诸葛村中的民居,均为建于明清的古建筑,八卦阵式的排列变幻莫测,奥妙无穷,大有可观赏之处.构成了一座颇具规模的建筑群,雕梁画栋,古朴典雅,已批准为国家级重点文物保护单位.
