本文通过对 2013 年 6 月至 8 月的《华商报》要闻版（“今日关注”）研究, 分别从其品牌定位、价值评判、文本编排、转型发展和存在不足等几个方面较详 细的探究了《华商报》的品牌现状,并由此尝试解读其在新媒体的持续冲击下所 做的转型与尝试. 《华商报》定位于普通市民,这其中就包含了各行各业各文化层次的城镇公 民,其受众群体明显优于机关报等出身的党报媒体.在价值评判上,《华商报》 的选题无论新闻价值、社会价值、史料价值其关注点无一不体现在关注民生的价 值原则上.其通过简明直接的文本文风和大气活泼的编排方式,客观真实而又不 乏美观的为受众提供“最有价值的新闻和信息”.其“黄马甲”配送公司在市场 化的洗礼中成长为高效的服务体,为“每天第一眼”看到华商报提供了可能…… 借此种种,《华商报》树立了良好的报纸品牌,并持续确立了在西安及西北地区 报业领头羊的地位. 然而在世界范围内,随着技术进步传统纸媒面临着可预见的衰落甚至灭亡, 《华商报》在新媒体的蚕食下也越来越面临强大的压力.自去年起广告份额的陡 然下降就是最直接的明证,同时这也给了《华商报》更强大的转型发展的动力. 在持续改善新闻质量和推进数字化的努力下,朝着“城市综合服务体”的理想前 进,无论前路如何,在没有可借鉴的成功案例之下,这无疑是一个极好的尝试和 符合市场化进程的选择.
