This paper tries to make clear relevant information on the former residences of celebrities and examine the tourism communication strategy of the former residences of celebrities from the viewpoint of mass communication. It discusses the communication characteristics of the former residences of celebrities from five aspects of mass communication, including the communicator, information, the communication channel, the audience and audience feedback. It also investigates how to develop the tourism communication of the former residences of celebrities and how to effectively convey the tourism information to the audience.
