内容简介:
Tree-ear是一名孤儿,从小与跛脚的Crane-man住在桥下,过著相依为命的日子.物质条件虽然不足,却从不怨天尤人.Tree-ear在翻捡村人垃圾桶之余,一有空暇便到陶匠Min家的院子里偷偷看他做陶.一次他不慎打破了Min的一个作品,而自愿做工偿还,由於他谦虚、懂事和负责的作态度,很得师母的疼爱.Min也终於打破「父职子承」的陶艺界惯例,收他为徒.他替年老的Min送陶瓶给朝廷的官员鉴赏,中途遇到盗匪,险些丧命,珍贵的陶瓶也在混乱之中掉入山谷,他会如何抉择?要空手回去面对Min,还是先入山谷找回破瓷片再想办法?

The story is very moving and meaningful.Though Tree-ear is an orphan,he still be optimistic and brave to pursue his dream.However,he is lucky to have such a good friend also teacher and his family- Crane-man.Unfortunately,Crane-man dead afterward,but he had taught Tree-ear many full with wise and meaning things.Though Min has bad temper on his surface,I think he has a kind heart in his mind.He finally taught Tree-ear how to make pottery and actually he is care about Tree-ear.I learned a lesson from Tree-ear that we should be brave to make our dream come true and always be optimistic to face things,although in bad condition and just few hopes.

I am touched after reading the book,there is lots of element composed in the book’s content.“Friendship” between Crane-man and Tree-ear; I am edification by the words that Crane-man told Tree-ear.I see “Courage” and “Determination” when Tree-ear found out that the pottery Min made to present to the emissary was ruin by the robbers but he still persist in keep on his journey to show the shard to the emissary,though he might be humiliate or refuse he still not give up.And he finally meet with success and achieve the task,though sorrow things happened after he discover his best friend or even his only parents had died.But the ending of the story is still positive,he found a new steady home and I believe he will become a great potter in the future.

This book not only shows us an unperfect but still a warm happy ending,but an attitude.Tree-ear was an unwelcomed orphan who makes a living by avoiding people,some leftovers was his biggest meal.Is there possibly be a future for this boy?I talk negative at first.But the more I read the more I found advantage to this boy.He was humble,but most of all,he was lucky,lucky to have a wise friend,Crane-man.this wise man was not only a company to Tree-ear,but a guide who led him towards the right attitude of life.With this attitude,he picks up all the opportunity along his path with courage and gratitude,eventually met success.We can review all the obstacles Tree-ear met,but instead of letting Tree-ear be the leading role,put ourselves in instead!First,If you were a orphan,would you ever dare to have a dream?Or will you choose to live quietly without any trouble?Second,when you thought you might be reaching your dream,but all of a sudden someone important told you that it's impossible.Will you give up,for you knew somehow in your heart that his or her words are in a certain rate of correct.Third,you promised someone a extremely difficult task even you think you don't stand a chance,will you choose to complete it anyway?Even if you did.you weren't half way there and you failed,because of your carelessness.Will you give it a try to keep on going?Life is like a video game,if you can't make it to the checkpoint,then sorry dude,try again.But the difference is that,in a game,trying again isn't a big deal,you love that game anyway.And if you get bored or annoyed about it,you can shut it down anytime you want,not to mention you don't have to worry about outcome.On the other hand,life,it takes courage and determined to restart.What's worse,not all people are satisfied with the life they own,without passion for living,how would they care if they can't move on?Shut down your life means suicide,would you take the risk and see if you could end up in heaven,or be brave,be optimisic,be enthusiastic!Be the owner of our own life,that's the attitude.
