by the end of this term “到这个学期末尾为止”,指的是截止到某一时间点/刻的时间段,通常用完成时.

不一样，第一个应该选择B，是说在这个学期结束，我们将进行期末考试，要表达出具体时间；第二个应该选择A，到这个学习结束，我们将学会5000个单词，表示时间过程。
