In all samples the HRTEM analysis indicated the presence of a narrow distribution of quite small Cu particles, averaging 6.0 nm in diameter in the Cu/γ-Al2O3 and Cu/Fe2O3 samples and 2.2 nm in the Cu/TiO2 sample.
