Abstract：The tidal flat at the silt coast in the midst of siltation is a regenerating resource under certain conditions. But the reclamation cycle of the tidal flat is getting shorter, the elevation is getting lower and its scope is getting wider, resulting in the weakening of tidal flat's regeneration ability; at the same time, it also creates a series of environmental problems. Therefore, it is particularly important to modify the tidal flat now; some measures should be adopted to modify and develop the tidal flat to benefit the life and production of the people.
