The earth scale change of climate has brought a new kind of natural disaster and the developed and complicated city system is holding a latent risk of expanding the damage artificially.Also people has been spoiling the health since the immense quantity of chemicals have been produced and already used in pursuit of convenience and various toxic substances have been produced unintentionally and accumulated in environment.Therefore,We need some countermeasures from the viewpoint to prevent the city environment form disaster and to manage environmental risks.So we will develop and improve a new risk management system and a disaster prevention system to preserve and create the city environment where people feel easy and sound in their life.

Now, the evironment is getting dirtier and dirtier. More and more cars are polluting the air, and more and more factories are making the rivers dirty. It has become a big problem.
we must protect our environment right now. We should walk more and drive less. We should try to use less electricity. And we should plant more trees. Then the air and the rivers will become clean again.

Organic matter e.g. potato peelings, left over food, tea leaves etc. can be transferred straight to a compost heap in the garden and used as a good, natural fertiliser for the plants. Aluminium cans, glass bottles and newspapers etc. are often collected from our doorsteps these days, but other items such as plastic bottles, juice cartons and cardboard may not be, in which case they can be taken to nearby recycling banks. Find out where they are by asking your local council or library.
* Use recycled paper to help save trees. Everyone in Britain uses about 6 trees worth of paper every year.
Chlorine bleach is usually used to make newspapers and this pollutes rivers. It's better to use unbleached, recycled paper whenever you can.
* Take your old clothes to charity shops. Some are sold, others are returned to textile mills for recycling.
* Try to avoid buying plastic. It's hard to recycle. One way to cut down on plastic is to refuse to use carrier bags offered by supermarkets and use strong, long lasting shopping bags instead, or re-use plastic bags over and over again, until they wear out and then recycle them.
* Don't buy over-packed goods. Many things we buy have unnecessary amounts of plastic and paper around them.

It's our duty to protect our Earth.So we must stop pollution,plant more trees and keep our enviroment clean.The Earth is our only home.It's very important to take good care of her.Saving the Earth is to save ourself.
In order to protect our environment from being polluted, I will do some publicity with my classmates to explain the harmfulness of pollution.Through this people will be able to realize the serious pollution human beings have made to the nature and realize the importance of a clean environment. In future they will reduce pollution in their daily life.
