我有以下不解：第一句中我怎么看着就像没谓语动词,being应该是非谓语动词吧,那么逗号后面不是应该是个谓语动词么?怎么会是descriptive of呢?
还有,从pure开始后面的一句谁能告诉我是什么意思?

由于中文里没有分词短语作状语这么个结构,翻译时只好把英文原文第一句拆成了两句."wuthering" 是分词being的逻辑主语.逗号后面的descriptive是修饰"wuthering"的定语.
第二句里,
Pure,bracing ventilation 纯洁、振奋精神的空气流通
这个短语用在这里很诡异,因为后面这句("的确,那纯洁、振奋精神的空气流通他们那儿想必时刻都有")是调侃,不合逻辑所以不好懂.中文版的翻译太正经("的确,他们这儿一定是随时都流通着振奋精神的纯洁空气"),好象讲的是事实,大大失色.
