I would like to live in the city
I prefer living in the city to country.Fire of all,the traffic is important.If you live in the country,you may walk most of the time,that's really tiring.In the city ,there are different kinds of transportations for us to choose,such as taxi,bus and subway.It's very convenient.Then,you can find good schools for study and you can find jobs more easily in the city ,but you can't do these in the country.I think country is a good place to relax and city is a good place to work and study.After work or study,you can find many kinds of clubs or cinemas to relax yourself.
So I would like to live in the city .But I can also have the acations in the country.

well, i lived in london for about 5 years when i was still a student and i hated it, sure it's convinient and everything but after 2005 the number of citizens in london within zone4 sored to an unbelievable number, the crime rate is up, the congestion got worse, people got cold, and the living cost was up. it was no longer safe to go out late at night with a few friends, you simply cannot get to any where in london in your own car, trust me i tried that around christmas where everybody went home to celebrate and i was stuck for 3hrs in traffic even after the congestion charge was intruduced! and not even the elderly would help you when your sat nav was down...
this is what happens when a city gets too big, and beijing's becoming just like this and i hate it. i've told many people that when everything that existed in my childhood is replaced by some ugly stupid mega construction like the new national opera theatre, i will not come back, because this city, this very place where i grown up has lost its charm and we simply cannot familiarise ourselves with a copy of every other well known cities in the world which in general eventually ended up like this! the national theatre is great, but i feel utterly shameful coming out of it because it is so out of place and i hate that exterior! and i hate it more knowing how much it cost to build a freaking metal egg! any one associated with this exterior should hang themselves!
now back to the topic. so after i got sick and tired of london because it's rowdy cold and dirty, i went to scotland to do university and i bought myself a fair-sized property in the sub-urb of ayr in scotland after graduation and soon after the start of work. now for a fact, the price i bought my house with a front yard about 3 parking spaces and a big backyard for my mothers gardening green fingers for only about a forth in london and about half in glasgow and edinburgh. my house is only 20 minutes away from my work, the village have full local amenities incuding a small police station, school and nursery , scottish in general are friendlier than south and my fellow villagers are nice because its a small community.
and there is never a big queue at the local doctors or dentist. i have sunshine in my home about 10 months every year, now that is a rare thing in london and the UK!
now that you have seen both sides, i think the reason behind the mass migration of upper and middle class is obvious, however most people tend to keep their property in the city as a source of income.
please do not ever get into your head that i think the west is better than our home country, in fact i love my country very much. although you must not deny that there is a lot we have to work on to make mother china a better place such as useful education, good efficient health care and probabily the juristiction system( i must mention that injustice and corruption exist in every country). i stress that there is simply no place like home and at the right time under maturer conditions we will return and join the force of development. in the near future there will undoubtly be a wave or waves of mass migration inflow of people like us.
