I was very unhappy with my mother the otherday. The reason was that I felt that she was being overly critical of me. I wassupposed to be chosen as my class's representative to partake in the upcomingenglish essay competition however my teacher has informed me that Xiao Chen, aclassmate of mine will now be the class representative. I was immensely upsetafter hearing this and told my mother about it. Instead of comforting me, mymother blamed my incompetence and lack of ability which was why Xiao Chen waschosen instead of me. I was appalled by her criticism and wentinside my room to cry. Even though my mother later apologized but I will neverforget this incident.
