Dynamic load capacities for horizontal and trunnion type centrifugal casting
machines are:
Model M 5,000 pounds ( 2,270 Kg.)
Model K 10,000 pounds ( 4,540 Kg.)
Model H 30,000 pounds (13,620 Kg.)
Model HS 100,000 pounds (45,400 Kg.)
This capacity includes the mold or flask with all hardware,flask lining
material,and casting weight.
Install the machine spinner assembly so that the top dead center of each
trunnion wheel is dead level with each other trunnion wheel in all possible
combinations of directions.Shimming must be done around the perimeter of the
machine's base between the base's bottom and the top of the concrete foundation
pad.Allow a minimum thickness of 1 inch (25mm) between the bottom of the
machine base and top of the concrete pad for grouting.
DO NOT SHIM
under the
bearing pillow block castings as these are jig BORED to matching centerline
heights.
Grout the bottom of the machine base completely with a minimum thickness of 1
inch (25mm) using a high-strength non-shrink grout.
