Going back to my advice at the beginning of the course – frame one question to center your presentation around.
Here are some samples
Q a).What is the difference between the Australian and Chinese workplaces,(and the implications of this to intercultural relations)?
or
Q b) What is the difference in behaviour in the workplace between Australian and Chinese workers ( and the implications for intercultural relations).
or
Q c) :What is the difference in behaviour between Australian and Chinese civil servants – (and the implications for intercultural relations).(just focus on what is different – not all the similarities)
(you could substitute “attitudes” for “ behaviour” in Q b or c.a difference in focus.
Choose the one that most sharply focuses on what you want to cover.
You do not have enough time allocated to cover everything as these are vast topics.For a start – if you say workers – are you talking about factory workers?or Middle Management or ordinary office workers?
The more closely you refine it – the clearer ad better your presentation will be in the time available.
A more focussed question stops you including heaps of information.eg salaries.Salaries is relevant perhaps if you do Qa – but not so much in b.it may be a background factor in C and worth mentioning because poor salaries has an impact on corruption.
You could make a question sharper just by saying “the key differences” – the ones that matter to the ordinary citizen.
Do not feel that you have to write a book on the subject or begin giving a lot of information such as the way the civil service is structured,or the history of it in China.Get to the point quickly,keep it simple and keep you eye on the ball..( the key points)
You should be able to answer the question in one summary slide atthe end...

她的意思其实也蛮简单的,跟一般老师讲的也都差不多的.
因为你是要做一个presentation嘛,而且是要比较在两个国家之间的差别的,而给你的时间又不是很多,所以她叫你挑一个特别突出的差别来做,解释介绍下有这些差别的原因.
她给了一些例子,而且有说到“just focus on what is different – not all the similarities”所以你还是多讲差别比较好.
