An animal’s colour can help it hide.Some rabbits have fur that changes colour.In the winter their fur turns white.When snow falls,the rabbits can’t be seen.A white rabbit hides in the best place of all – right inside its own fur.
Fish can change their colour when they need to.They can become green or blue or brown.Then they swim deep under the water.If they don’t move,they can’t be seen.Other fish think they are looking at sand or rocks.
Some bugs are the colour of plants.Try to find the orange ladybug(瓢虫) sitting on an orange flower.Try to find a green grasshopper(蚱蜢) in the green grass.
