My summer vacation plan
I am going back to my hometown this summer.I will take a good rest when I get home after a year's hard work. I will eat all the nice foods I have been missing for so many years. I will find a good badminton coach to help me improve my skills.And I will try to see all my childhood friends and pay a visit to my high school teacher, who has played an important role in my life.In August, I will have this Yangzi river cruise with my parents. Right now, I keep thinking all the fun things that I would like to do in summer: chatting on line, dancing, going to the beach, clothes shopping, reading one or two nice books, seeing some nice movies,more and more.Summer vacation is the best time of the year. I can plan lots of fun things and I can carry them out. It is like I can do whatever I want.Oh, I just can't wait for it!

Sports are at the top of the list of outdoor activities. Little League Baseball/Softball, Soccer and Pop-Warner Football are all summer sports for the kids. Many cities and towns have leagues for adults as well as children. Adult softball, basketball and touch football are some popular summer adult leagues. If there are no leagues in your area, Craigslist's community forum is a great way to organize pick up games. And the summer's long daylight hours mean more time to play.
Hiking and camping are fun and adventurous activities that are best enjoyed in the summer. The strong bonding and team spirit attitude of both camping and hiking make them great for families. The best spots for camping and hiking are, without doubt, the country's National Parks.
The beach and water sports are irresistible in the summer months. If the coast or a lake is not near by, why not organize a road trip to them. Being on, in, and sometimes under the water is the definition of summer fun, not to mention the great exercise water sports provides. Boating goes hand in hand with the beach and water sports and the earlier the boat goes in the water the better. Don't wait until mid-summer to begin work on it, rather begin making it sea worthy in May so it will be in the water early June and is used throughout the summer. It is not worth having a boat if it is put in the water in August and taken out in September.
Summer Eating
Summer is the best season to buy locally grown fruits and vegetables. If there is a farmer's market nearby, go to it. Buy locally and if available, organic. It may cost a little more, but the difference in taste is remarkable. Fresh summer produce includes: squash, cucumbers, tomatoes, strawberries, corn, broccoli and many others. And with the kids out of school and the warm weather, it is also the best time to create an outdoor family feast.
Take Some Time
Summer is a perfect time to take some time off. Not only can you participate in great outdoor activities, but with schools out it is ideal to spend time with the family. So save those vacation days for the warmer months ahead.

I will have a busy summer vacation. I am going to do my homework every day so that I can finish doing it as quickly as I can. I am going to the library to borrow some books and go to the shops to buy some books so that I can read some interesting books. I am going to read English in the morning and try to remember at least 10 new words every day because I want to learn English very well. I am going to play sports such as playing basketball with my friends at least three time a week. Of course I am going to spend a week in Shanghai with my parents so that we can see the expo. I am sure I am going to have an interesting and happy summer vacation.
