I am writing for about my concern of the polluted river in my city.The Tiger River is a very important river here.But over the years it has been heavily polluted due to many factories being built in the last 5 years.I hope you can recommend additional rules and regulations to preserve the river so it will not get more polluted.I also hope you can take measures to clean up the pollution.Thank you.

Nowdays, environmental pollution has become a major concern of all the citizens living in this city. Too many cars and factories, as well as unhealthy way of dealing with trashes, all lead to serious environmental problems. Our air is polluted by gases like carbon dioxide and sulfur dioxide released by automobiles; poisonous trashes poured into rivers and lakes have already contaminated our presious drinking water. All of these kinds of pollutions are harmful to human health. In order to make a healthy living environment for both us and our next generation, I hope your department could take actions to prevent future pollution as well as eliminate current major environmental threat to citizens.

I am a student from XX school(or whatever the department is). I'm so sorry to trouble you, but there are something really necessary to report to you: the envireonmental problems.
The pollution of environment is becoming a more and more serious problem. Well, as far as I am concernd, I think these problrms are solvable if we work together. I also think that people should be more vocal to press for change and i think that people should try to set good examples. The process is beginning to occur but the problem is that we have only scratched the surface of the problem. If the government doesn't pay more attention to it, then we will have an unbearable quality of life.
