7在圣经中是一个特别的数字,是表示一个特定的周期,起初神创造万物用了6天,第七天休息.
还有12和24等也表示一个特定的周期.
在旧约时代,神也设立了很多和七年有关的条例,比如耕地也是耕种6年休息1年.
虽然第一个七年在不同的圣经章节里具体意义不同,但都是代表一个完整的周期过去.
