I started out my first day with a big breakfast and then I headed to Ningbo Bus Station.Crossing the Hangzhou bay bridge---which reached a length of 36 kilometers and tended to be the longest sea-span bridge over the world,our bus just took under three hours to Shanghai.
Ceaseless noise of vehicle and perilous weather,banal gigantic buildings thronged by the large working masses,narrow streets full of petrol fumes and toxic gases,all over the city was planned for the conception of modern industry of the maximum production.All that came to me when I thought of shanghai.As soon as I took off the bus,however,I felt that this was not the case.I found shanghai excited.It is much better than I envisaged.After the lunch,I registered at a hotel near the Tongji University where I would take the postgraduate admission examination on the next day’s afternoon.Obviously,then I stayed at the room,with mixing feelings,spent the rest of the day preparing for the test.
.Although there was just a few days’ leaving,I had a great appetite to spicy flavor.It is as if I,in some sense,sank into a strong feeling of homesick.It is very funny that when I immediately headed to the Yunnan Road but only found it was a food street famous for many traditional tastes of jiangnan.I picked up some of them,and what surprised me was that they were not exactly my taste,but I enjoyed them.
The last day,I spent the afternoon at the Shanghai Museum.What a beautiful Museum containing many artifacts of China’s History.This four-story museum could take a few days to explore,but what a pity I should leave at sunset.I went back to Ningbo at night,and ended my three-day trip of Shanghai.I had been delighted by what I have seen,and would love to come back again since there is still plenty more to experience here.
