Friday July 27,the most waited even of the year had finally arrived ——the London Olympic Games 2012.The Open Ceremony is tonight.After watching the Olympic torch passing our house,I just couldn’t wait until the games to start.The open ceremony tonight was really great for a boy who was born in the UK.But I think people from other countries might have found it a bit boring,because they knew little about British History.
Saturday July 28,the main event of the day was Open Road cycling.But the first gold medal went to China before the Cycling race was finished.Because I am a British Chinese,I have two teams to support ——Team GB and Chinese team.So,I was very happy to see my otherland won the first gold medal of the games,and at the same a bit disappointed with the team GB’s
performance with the cycling,which they were one of the favorite to win it!
Sunday July 29,the games were now in full swing,China team is top of the medal table with 6 gold.But for Team GB,there is still no sign of winning a thing yet!And I am now really enjoying watching most of the events.My favorite ones are gymnastics and diving,but they are yet to start.I am sure my old country China will dominate in both events,particularly diving.
Wednesday August 1,gold medal for Team GB at last!Prince William and Prince Harry were
among the British crowds who watched Team GB break its gold drought at the Summer Olympics here as women's pair Helen Glover and Heather Stanning rowed to their victory.And of course,China team is now well ahead in the medal race,leading the Americans on top the table.Hurray!What a wonderful game!
Tuesday August 28,we didn't know why,my father and I thought that the Open Ceremony of the Paralympics is on tonight.So we sat on the sofa after our evening meal and waiting for it to come on the TV.But after 8 P.M.,we still didn't see it showing.So we looked for the TV programs and discovered that we were completely wrong about the date,the ceremony will take place tomorrow,August 29,what are a pair silly fools we were.We laughed for a whole night!.ha ha ha...
