Lu Xun was the pen name of Zhou Shuren (September 25,1881 - October 19,1936,a leading figure of modern Chinese literature.At age 12,he began to study in (Sanwei shu ww).--> [我看不懂这个是什么..查到的资料没出现] Lu Xun was a great writer,with works that exerted a substantial influence after the May Fourth Movement.In 1898,he studied in Nanjing and in 1902,Lu Xun left for Japan.Luxun briefly returned home in 1903.At age 22,he complied to an arranged marriage with a local gentry girl,Zhu An,handpicked by Lu Xun's mother.Lu Xun was a chronic smoker and his lungs had been greatly weakened by tuberculosis.At age 56,Lu Xun was stricken with bronchitic asthma and a fever,and he eventually succumbed to his illness and died few months later.
Lu Xun has been described as "The greatest writer Asia produced in the twentieth century." Lu Xun's importance to modern Chinese literature lies in the fact that
he contributed significantly to nearly every modern literary medium
during his lifetime.Some of his more popular works included “The True Story of Ah Q","Call to Arms","A Madman's Diary".Lu Xun was highly acclaimed by the Communist regime after his death,and Mao Zedong himself was a lifelong admirer of Lu Xun's works.
