How could it possible for them to go about without the pricks of conscience ?
我现在在准备考研,这两句话是之前参加的新东方考研英语强化班上老师给的某年的真题作文的范文中的两句话,让背熟!我英语不是很好,看到这两句话的时候有些疑问,想请大神们给些建议!
首先是第一句话,我觉得when应该是引导时间状语从句的,但是它和主句之间为什么要加逗号隔开呢,然后是第二个逗号啦,第二个逗号后面的a pitiful ……应该是对前面的一个补充,但是它到底算是什么句子成分呢?能被逗号隔开吗?算是同位语还是插入语?搞不懂,能被逗号隔开的句子成分都有哪些已经把我搞晕了!
其次是第二句话,我怎么看怎么觉得这句话在 it 后缺了be动词,句子是没看错,给的讲义上就是这么写的,不知是我记错了还是这种形式也是对的!我记得应该是It is possible ……,改成疑问句后难道不是把is 改成 be ,而是去掉吗?
请给出解释,不要光说对与错!第一句话问题有点多,如果能帮我详细分析整句话最好不过了,如果嫌分析整句话太麻烦,就请把我的几个小问题解答好就行了!在此先谢过了!

a pitiful and unjust sight是主句的同位语,再后面是sight的定语从句
当他们老到不能自理,他们成为负担被子女像足球一样T来T去,这样一种可怜或者不公的情景会在很多中国人中引起愤怒.
