The 2010 Gulf of Mexico oil spill is the worst environmental disaster in history.It was caused by the explosion of an oil rig "Deepwater Horizon",which lead to 11 rig workers' death.Both of the economic and environmental damages were huge.Oil company BP is now facing a fine and clean up cost of up to 30 billion dollars.The incident was the biggest of its kind and making energy thrist the USA has to think twice before allowing other oil companies to drill again in the deep water around its coasts.
