第一个问题,如楼上所说,可以告诉楼主一个简便方法,这种固定搭配的词语分清他们一般看介词.
by一般接某种方式或者是某种渠道材料,as本身意思是作为当作的意思,for后面一半接目的,为了什么……
第二个问题我也告诉你简单方法,the other有两种用法,一个后面接复数,强调整体,前面句子必须有另一个整体,另一种用法接单数,前面必须说只有两个比如one……the other.
other一般用在没有特指的情况《初中其实选题很少用到
another是重要考点,不要以为后面只有接one,也可以是two,他强调意思上.《我只能说,这实在是太常考了
第三个问题这两个句子是从句,长话短说,一般这两个句子某种程度上表达意思相同,所以do后面有it就是用how如果do后面没有宾语就用what

第五个问题同样是介词,from后面要接宾语.

be known as 作为...而闻名 与be famous for“以...而出名”意思相近
例句：the great wall is knownto the people all over the world
