Every one wnts to be a good student. But what is a good student? I think each person may have different opinion on it .

In my eye , a good student should be hard-working. He shoud listen carefully in class an hand in his homework on time . though he may not get high marks in tests . Then I think a good student should also be polite to his teachers and parents. With their help or support ,he can do well in study and grow up happily.Besides ,he should be friendly and helpful to others ,take part in all kinds of activities .At last ,it’s necessary for a good student to have some abilities,such as drawing,organizing things well and so on.

In a word ,I think a good student shoud not only be good at studying or sports ,but also have many good qualities. Do you agree with me ?

To be honest, I think I am not a good student, though many of my friends and classmates think highly of me and always think that I am a good student.

From my point view, to be a good student, you should not only do well in your study, but also possess various abilities, such as interpersonal skills. What is more, to be a good student is never an easy thing.

In my mind, a good student should possess these following qualities, including curiosity, initiative, determination as well as modesty.

However, I am only a student who always spends more time on studying. According to my traditional educational background, high scores are the judgment to determine a student is good or not. In my whole school education, I was taught in this way. So I am only concerned about my major studying, which makes me ignore many other curial qualities of being an all-round developed student.

Now, I become to realize that high score is not the only thing. I begin to take part time in some activities which are always related to English. In addition, I also become the

monitor of my class. Through my involvement in extracurricular activities, I gradually develop a sense of responsibility and a deeper understanding of how to communicate with people, especially teachers and fellow students.

I have seen some small changes happen to me. For instance, I am more willing to smile and greet with others when encounter on the school road or streets. Now I am trying to approach to be a better student than I used to be.

enterprises were graduated from junior high school, senior high school or even primary school; few of them have had a good education; almost all of them were too naughty and disobedient to labeled “good students” when they were still at school. But they turned out to be senior managements of famous companies. That means they gained a successful life without the standard of “good student”.

And another story on the Internet told me something about a girl who always be the 23rd of the class which included 50 students in the exam. Her parents tried lots of ways to make their daughter a better

score, but the result was definitely turned out to be just the opposite to what their wish. Surprisingly, wherever the girl went to, people around her were infected by her optimistic and enthusiastic character. Everyone loved her smile and her attitude about life. That means the girl gained an individual success.

Both the two examples tell us a good student never need a good score. Making an improvement of children’s sociability, communication skills, practical ability and ability of divergent thinking is much more important. There are even brand-name university students turn to sell vegetables because of the lack of relevent abilities. I really hope

I have met many people who are really worth admiring in my life. But perhaps the most admirable person I have ever known is my English teacher who taught me in my teens. What frequently brings back memories of my English teacher is her special qualities.

My deskmate

During these three years, I can’t go through without her help. She is my deskmate, Mary. She is a really kind girl who often helps us with our lessons. At first, I’m not very glad of sitting beside her because she is so excellent. And that will bring me too much pressure. However,

one thing changed my opinion and we became close friends.

On a cold winter morning, I got a bad cold. Nobody noticed that I felt very sad. When my deskmate knew that, she ran to the school clinic and bought some medicine for med. Then she gave me some fruit and prepared hot water for me. Looking at her busy doing these things, I was moved entirely. Thanks to her help, I spent the terrible day happily.
