any  在否定句中 既可以和可数名词连用,也可以和不可数名词连用,这里的glass  是可数名词玻璃杯的意思 所以要用glasses ,如果是不可数名词就不用复数,eg  there isn't  any milk in the bottle .
这里potatoes  用复数 表示类别,可数名词复数前没有冠词表示类别.
