The bridge in Cambridge looked like the one in Venice when it was built up,so it was called Bridge of Sigh. 不知道这样译对不对,请高手指点一下,万分感激.

这是在下的答案仅供参考 There is a bridge named Bridge of Sigh in Venice ,which opened on to a prison.Every prisoner would get into their mixed memories and heaved a sigh for their future,when they were sent to the prison through the bridge.The bridge in Cambridge looks like the one in Venice,so it got the same name--Bridge of Sigh after being built.
