We have had to discuss the various problems that we are encountering on your parts and we hold this balance for the invoices almost like a guarantee.
There are credits that are on the purchase ledger account that have been raised because of the warranties that we experienced that you have exchanged e mails with David Lewis. I cannot pay this amount in full.
I am about to go on holiday and I want to resolve this issue to try to get production running in your plant and also to try to keep the relationship with Quinton Hazell.
I propose that we make a payment against this outstanding amount of €20,000 and I will also authorise deposit payment only against the invoice that you raise for the current order that I have asked for.
Let me be clear also we cannot make full payment against the subsequent invoice until we are in possession of the goods and have checked them
You must understand how nervous we are in Quinton Hazell as we have had so many failed promises from your company regarding quality of the parts.
Please reply to my colleague above Dave Lewis and myself as I start my holiday tomorrow.
