The hero of the book,

precious pigeon. He

felt not only sad but

also nervous because his granddad looked forward to the victory of the pigeon. He even

thought about catching the

falcons. Fortunately, he found

the pigeon in a gap in the rock at

last.

I felt enjoyable when I read this

story, Danny is attentive to his

granddad and Goldie. His

granddad cares about him, too. I

love this kind of warmth.

My Favorite Part in Waiting for Goldie

Waiting for Goldie, written by Susan Gates, illustrated by Jane Cope, is a very lovely story, in my opinion. It is about a boy called Danny finding his grandfather’s champion racing pigeon Goldie. When he found Goldie, he also had a new understanding of falcons. My favorite part of the book is when Danny saw the little chick,because I think it showed Danny’s kindness and the close relationships between human beings and the animals, which also touched my heart.

A particularly affecting part of the story is when Danny saw the little chick. It made him think about Goldie.

Danny thought the falcons killed Goldie, he decided to revenge. But when he climbed to the falcons’ nest, he saw the little chick. “It’s pink and helpless, flopping about in the nest.”I imagine the little chick, flocky and cute, making little sounds and thumpingits wings. The chick cannot wait to fly to the sky. What a beautiful scene. It moved Danny’s heart and made him think what Goldie was like when she was little. This book showed us the friendship between human beings and animals, also it showed us how kind the boy’s heart is. In a word, there should be no enemies in nature, where everything is beautiful and lovely.

Danny’s grandfather has many pigeons, one of them has a pair of golden eyes, and she is quite rare. Because of her eyes, she’s called Goldie. Goldie can race really fast, and she won loads of cups, she’s famous, too. But now, she gets lost, it didn’t happen before, however it happens now. Grandfather is now in hospital, so Danny has to look after the pigeons. He must record the time that Goldie returns from a race, but she doesn’t come back now. Danny is very nervous to see his grandfather because Goldie is lost. Luckily, Granddad trusts Goldie, and believes his lie. Danny decides to get rid of the falcons that might have killed Goldie. But he is a good boy; he doesn’t do that finally. At that moment, he finds Goldie in a tiny crack. Goldie’s leg is broken, so Danny brings her back home as quickly as he can. After that, Danny solves the problem perfectly. Good-heartedness often meets with recompense. Danny’s nice heart makes him find Goldie and saves her life. Everyone can become animals best friend if you want. Show your heart, to your family, or your pet.

The Personality Potion

Danny is a fantastic boy. He doesn’t like playing with others; he even doesn’t like to go outside, just like another little Harry Potter, right? Danny’s favorites are books and the yummy fudge bars. The next day on the bus, Wicks robs his fudge bars but he could not resist. When Mrs. Morgan tells them about the school play, Bugsy Malone, Danny feels really excited. He knows he really want the main part but can’t believe in himself. Everyone’s sneer and scorn makes him loses his confident. But everything changes when Danny’s uncle gives him a magic potion to bring out his hidden talents. Danny becomes brave and talented after that. He starts to do good jobs again and again. Of course he gets the main part. However truths are always surprising. There’s nothing fantastic in the potion, it’s even not a potion, but it does work. The real potion is the confident. We all have special talents, some could be seen, but more of them are not be discovered. No matter what kind of difficulty you encounter, don't give up easily, and just believe in yourself. Say” I can do that. ”, then you will find that you really can do that well.

The Ultimate Trainers

Jake finds the ultimate trainers on top of a cardboard box, next to a pile of rubbish bins. He gets them but his best friend Anna looks kind of worry. When he tries them out, they find that the trainers are really ultimate. They have incredible velocity, they are amazing. After that, Jake soon has a card up one's sleeve on the Cross-County Championships. He wants to win the game with the trainers. But Anna make him changes his mind. They have a life of their own. Maybe he could win with the trainers; however it’s not the real result. So he decides to wear his old trainers. But the world always changes, Arrogant Kevin Beadle steals the ultimate trainers and wears them to the Championships. Beadle wins, but the trainers don’t want to stop, so they keep running. Beadle becomes enervated. Actually, the trainers are belong to the people from another time, Maria and Luther, and they bring the trainers back finally. The things belonging to you are the real fortune. Only the results belonged to yourself could make you happy. And of course, Evil will be recompensed with evil.

Let the love between everyone

When the sun of the spring was at the middle of the sky，I c(来自:WWw.SmhaiDa.com 海达范文网:waiting,for,goldie)losed the book called Waiting For Goldie slowly。At that time，I felt a sunshine lighted up in my real heart，not only for the hot sun，but also for the meaningful story.

Danny was the leading of the story，and Goldie was a champion racing pigeon of Danny’s Granddad。But one day，Danny was missing，and Danny was very worried about it，because his Granddad had a heart attack，if let he know the truth，he would even have another heart attack. So, Danny decided to look for Goldie by himself.

First，he thought Goldie might be ate by the falcon，and he hated it very much. The sentence “My fists are all bunched up，in tight white knots” proves that Danny was really angry，But when he got to the quarry and found a chick of falcon，he changed his mind. The chick was too small and hopeless，that even made him think about Goldie. “All my angry feeling gush away，like water down a plughole”. I was moved by the love between Danny and Goldie，but I was move attracted by Danny’s kind and compassion. Surely，he found Goldie finally，but he didn’t hurt the falcon at last.

In my opinion，I think the story was all about love: Danny’ s love to Granddad， Granddad’ s to Goldie. But the most important love that moved me is Danny’s love to the little falcon chick. As we know，at first，Danny even wanted it kill falcons，but finial he didn’t do that. What has made him do such different thing? I think it is the love.

Love is the most beautiful thing in our world，we can’t see it ，but we can feel its existence。With the love，our heart can be warm。Sometimes，a word or action of love can make difference. So，Let’s lean to give love，share love，let the love between everyone.
