Christmas family party

December 25th is Christmas Day. The name Christmas is short for 'Christ's Mass'. A Mass is a kind of Church service. Christmas is a religious festival. It is the day we celebrate as the birthday of Jesus.

Now ,many of the festivities of Christmas do not have anything to do with religion. Exchanging gifts and sending Christmas cards are the modern ways of celebrating the Christmas in the world.

On Christmas Day, many people will have big parties. They like eating turkey, fruits and drinking some juice for supper. After supper, many people will go out for shopping and walking with their children. There are a lot of special things: Christmas trees, socks, Christmas card and some presents. So in Christmas Day, all the families are very happy.

Present

While mentioning present, nobody feels unfamiliar. We have got a large number of presents in the past years and will get lots of them in the future life. We took the gifts in sorts of ways, like birthday presents, New Year presents and chrismas presents. Furthermore, when we made a big progress in our study and work, presents were also prepared for us from our parents or teachers.

However, can only materials things be called presents? The answer is absolutely no. as someone once said that the most precious thing is always free. Such as the air we breathe, the sunshine we soak up, the kinship we own and the belief we stick to. Therefore, whatever it costs and both good and bad, they are the best presents we hold, and anything cannot replace them.

School

The classmates we get along with every day are friendly and enthusiastic.
