Eating healthily is not about dieting, to stay unrealistically thin, to deprive yourself of the food you love and the nutrients in it. Eating healthily promotes good health and you can feel really great, having more energy and be able to stabilise your mood.
The first step to eating healthily is to adopt a healthy attitude towards food. After so, you can start on eating healthy food such as vegetables and fruits, to drink plenty of water everyday and not to skip breakfast in the morning and also to avoid eating late at night. You can also calculate how much calorie you need a day to better gauge your daily intake of food. Also, it is suggested to take in your food slowly as this would better aid the digestion process. Also, go for healthy carbohydrates, whole grains and healthy fats and to avoid unhealthy fats. It is also important to take in vitamins from food and not from pills. Lastly, it is better to limit sugar and salt intake for a better diet.

On the other hand , it is equally dangerous to have too much of anything , including one's favourite food . They say , for example , children who eat lots of cheeseburgers and milk shakes will increase their risk of heart attack . Therefore , we cannot decide what to eat without learning about the human body and food . Scientific information about the body's needs for fats , proteins , minerals and vitamins can help us decide on the right choice and the right amount . And it can also help us separate facts from mistaken opinions .
